Cucu

A multi-platform content engine for creators and operators. Drop a brief — Cucu researches the niche, drafts a strategy, writes four platform-specific scripts, voices them, and renders an AI-avatar reel end to end.

This walkthrough covers how to use Cucu (Kuku) — an agentic content creation platform — to generate multi-platform video content using your own persona (face and voice) or a default avatar. It covers persona setup, video generation, and the underlying components involved in creating realistic, avatar-based videos with B-roll and platform-specific scripts.

01

Access Cucu and choose your target platforms

Cucu lets you create content for multiple platforms — LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and X (Twitter). Log into the platform and decide which destinations you want to generate content for in your current session. Each platform gets its own draft tuned to its format and audience.

02

Set up your persona (face and voice)

Configure your personal avatar so Cucu can generate videos that look and sound like you. Once both your headshot and voice sample are uploaded, Cucu processes them into a reusable avatar that appears in every render.

  • Upload a clean head-and-shoulders headshot — good lighting, neutral background, facing camera.
  • Record a clean 30–60 second voice sample — one speaker, no music, clear pronunciation.
  • Cucu submits the headshot to HeyGen Talking Photo and the voice to HeyGen Instant Voice Clone.
03

Use the default avatar (optional alternative)

If you prefer not to upload your own face and voice, skip the persona step and select the default avatar. Cucu will render with a generic but professional avatar and an AI-generated voice — useful for testing scripts or shipping faceless content.

04

Generate sample videos for your content

Create example videos to see how the agent translates a brief into a draft. Generate multiple variations on the same topic and pick the one that best fits your audience and tone.

  • Provide a topic or hook (e.g. a fitness concept like "the cardio trap").
  • Specify the format and platform (e.g. "Instagram Reel about why certain cardio workouts keep professional women tired, not strong").
  • Let the agent generate variations across platforms for review.
05

Review an example generated reel

Open one of the saved samples and confirm: the on-screen script is tailored to the platform; the structure and tone match your brand; your avatar (or the default) appears in the lower portion of the screen; and B-roll automatically fills the upper portion to visually support the narration.

  • Avatar in the lower portion, on-brand and lip-synced.
  • B-roll fills roughly the upper 50% — visually supports the narration.
  • Script structure and tone match your brand and message.
06

Understand the technology stack behind your videos

Cucu's agent orchestrates several best-in-class tools so you don't have to wire them up yourself. The vanilla agent coordinates them automatically in the background.

  • HeyGen — realistic avatar-based videos with lip sync and facial motion.
  • Replicate — image generation for B-roll, pulling from a broad visual knowledge base.
  • Claude and OpenAI GPT — hooks, scripts, captions and CTAs tailored to each platform.
07

Publish and experiment with more content

Once you're happy with the samples, export and ship. Then iterate — change topics, hooks or tones, and let Cucu keep generating fresh variations.

  • Download or export the videos in the right aspect ratio for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts or X.
  • Post them on your channels and monitor engagement.
  • Change hooks, tones or platforms and re-run the brief to keep the queue full.

The Problem

  • Founders and operators need consistent multi-platform video, but can't hire four creators.
  • Generic LLMs produce scripts that ignore platform format, pacing and audience.
  • Avatar tools, B-roll libraries and script tools live in different products — switching kills momentum.
  • Every brief restarts research, persona, voice and rendering from scratch.

What We Built

  • A single chat surface that takes a plain-English brief and ships a finished reel.
  • Reusable persona (face + voice) so every render looks and sounds like the operator.
  • Per-platform copywriters that adapt hook, script length and CTA per channel.
  • Orchestration over HeyGen, Replicate and frontier LLMs — under one agent.

Why it matters

Cucu collapses the entire multi-platform content stack — research, strategy, copy, voice, avatar and B-roll — into one brief. Operators stop juggling tools and start shipping consistent video at the speed their channels need.
